TYPES OF SOLAR SYSTEMS

In the previous posts, we saw how the use of solar energy is essential and beneficial. In this article, we will see the types of solar energy systems. We will be able to decide which type of system is right for us. In the next article, we will see how we can design this system according to the electrical load in our home, office or factory.
We use solar energy to meet our electricity needs. There are 3 types of systems to generate solar energy. We can make that system by deciding which one is right for us. In fact, it can be very cheap if we design and make our own system and that is why this post is for us.
3 Types of Solar Energy Systems -
1) On Grid System 2) Off Grid System 3) Hybrid System
Let us understand these 3 systems one by one. Where electricity is not continuous or goes out frequently, hybrid system is more beneficial. Therefore, hybrid systems are more commonly used in rural areas. Also, on-grid systems are more suitable for large capacity plants. We will see that in the next posts. A diagram is given in the information of each system from which you can easily understand that system.
1) On-grid system -
Grid means network. All the power generating sets in our country are connected to each other by electricity wires and a network of them has been created. The electricity that we get in our home or office from the electricity supply company comes from this grid. If there is a shortage of electricity in a state or if there is a high demand, electricity is supplied from other generating sets or from generating sets in other states to the state where there is a shortage through this network of electricity wires. This is the biggest advantage of this network or grid. If the electricity generated in the power generating set is not used, it goes to waste because it cannot be stored. So now from the diagram below, you will understand how the on-grid system should generally work.

I will explain the working of ON GRID system in my next blog post.
